The companion of the Holy Rasul Muhammad SAW are those that have embraced Islam, alive and kept company with him, even for short time and died as a muslim. In general the qualification to be known as "sahabah" or companion needs to the fulfilment of the following major three basic conditions before being bestowed the title of "sahabah" or companion.
